Summary: Directs warehousing, vending, delivery, and fleet activities for organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for all warehouse, delivery, and vending personnel’s schedules, performance, staff development, employee relations, and safety.
Schedules employees to best optimize performance and control overhead and excessive overtime.
Responsible for ordering product to ensure there are no out-of-stocks. Responsible for out-of-date product and inventory control. Responsible for the daily count in and out of all trucks established by our standard operating procedures.
Responsible for the installation, inventory, repairs and refurbishing of our vending equipment.
Responsible for the maintenance of our building, grounds, vending equipment, and vehicles.
Responsible for scheduling the maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and vehicle registration/tags with approved vendors.
Responsible for controlling the costs to repair all equipment and/or building.
Responsible for the shipping/receiving which includes unloading trucks, verifying correctness of shipments against bills and lading or other records, check for shortages, rejects damaged goods, shipping and dunnage, and routes merchandise to proper department or loading area. Takes the initiative to verify accuracies and deliver shipments received to the proper department upon receipt.
Inspects products and equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards. Directs and performs cleaning of equipment in work areas. Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions.
Participates in safety program and follows all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for anything our company may assign relating to the operations and delivery of our products.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Certificates and Licenses:
Forklift Operator, Coin/Vending Technician and Class A/B CDL Preferred.
Directly supervises team of 30 employees in the warehouse and vending departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
