Summary: Delivers products to and from our manufacturing division located in Charlotte, NC on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned for a Transport Driver.
Transport Drivers pick up material goods from our manufacturing facility located in Charlotte, NC and deliver the inventory to our sales distribution center located in Ladson, SC on a daily basis (Monday thru Friday evenings).
Expected schedule daily starts at 3pm and ends around 11pm, Monday thru Friday.
Communicates issues, problems, or opportunities with general manager.
Follows all company policies and procedures set forth by management.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Encompass software.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid Class A/B CDL driver’s license meeting acceptable criteria and valid DOT medical card.

Being able to drive for 8 hours daily a tractor-trailer bulk truck.
